Sarasota, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Marissa Steen birdied the fifth playoff hole Sunday to defeat Yueer Cindy Fung and win the Guardian Retirement Championship at Sara Bay.

Steen carded a 3-under 69 during her final round to meet second-round leader Feng atop the leaderboard at 3-under-par 213. Feng tripped to a 1-over 73 during her final round at Sara Bay Country Club.

The duo returned to the 18th hole for the playoff and after trading pars at the first extra hole, they each missed short birdie attempts at the second.

They would both record pars on the next two trips down the 18th before Feng hit her tee shot into the trees left of the fairway.

Steen found the short grass with her drive and stuck her approach near the hole, while Feng came up short of the green.

Feng then chipped close to the hole, but she would not have a chance to convert her par attempt as Steen rolled in her short birdie putt to claim her first win on the Symetra Tour.

Megan McChrystal (71) finished in third place at 2-under, while Rachel Rohanna (71), Kris Tamulis (72) and Therese Koelbaek (73) shared fourth at minus-1.
