Hyogo, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Hiroyuki Fujita parred the first playoff hole on Sunday to defeat Sang-Hyun Park and win the Tsuruya Open.

Fujita shot 4-under 67 to end at 13-under-par 271. Park had gotten in the clubhouse first as he fired a 7-under 64 to end at minus-13.

The pair returned to the 18th, where Fujita's par was enough for his 16th tour win on the Yamanohara Course at Yamanohara Golf Club.

Park birdied four of five holes from the fifth to make the turn 10-under. He wrapped birdies at 13 and 15 around a bogey on the 14th. Park jumped to minus-13 with an eagle on No. 17, then he waited to see what Fujita would do.

Fujita had three birdies the first six holes to move to minus-12. Around the turn, he stumbled to a double bogey on the par-3 11th, but fought back with three birdies in a four-hole span from the 13th to gain a share of the lead. Fujita parred the final two holes before collecting the title in the playoff.

Hideto Tanihara (64) and Michael Hendry (69) shared third place at minus-12. Shingo Katayama closed with a 70 to end at 10-under 274. He was joined there Tomohiro Kondo (65), Hyung-Sung Kim (67) and I.J. Jang (68).

Third-round leader Atomu Shigenaga struggled to a 4-over 75 and he fell into a tie for 11th at 7-under 277.
