Wildflower tour through Gypsum Hills scheduled for May 10

A wildflower tour through the Gypsum Hills – including a couple of meals – will be May 10 in Medicine Lodge.

The Barber County Conservation District is hosting the bus tour, which begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Medicine Lodge High school cafeteria with registration, continental breakfast and a slide show of the flowers people will be seeing. There will be one or two stops in the morning and another in the afternoon, with lunch served in between in a park. Buses return to the school around 3:30 p.m.

The cost is $15, which includes breakfast and lunch. Children 10 and under are free. To make reservations, send a check by May 5 to Barber County Conservation District, 800 W. Third Ave., Medicine Lodge, KS 67104. For more information, call 620-886-5311.
