Families interested in swimming lessons at Wichita’s public swimming pools can register online for the two-week sessions, which begin June 3.

Wichita Park and Recreation offers swimming lessons for ages 6 and up. Registration fee is $25 per person.

To sign up, go to www.wichita.gov, click on the Government/Park & Recreation tab, and then click “Register.” Under the “Swimming” tab, search for the pool nearest you.

Sessions are two weeks and run Tuesday through Friday, 45 minutes a day. Enrollment is limited to 10 students in beginner-level classes. Instructors are certified through the American Red Cross.

Online registration runs through May 23. You also may register in person at city swimming pools beginning May 26.
