Train Derailment near 17th And Mosley

Several train cars jumped off the tracks near 17th and Mosley on Monday morning blocking 17th Street. Crews were examining the cars for damage.

Six cars of a train went off the tracks near the intersection of 17th and Mosley in Wichita Monday morning, emergency dispatchers said.

There are no injuries and no emergency, a Sedgwick County dispatcher said.

The cars that derailed were believed to be carrying flour, the dispatcher said.
