Drive-By Truckers at Orpheum, Tornado Bait Party at Shamrock, third annual 4/20 Blowout at Crown Uptown

Drive-By Truckers at the Orpheum

Athens, Ga.-based Southern rock band Drive-By Truckers will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Orpheum, 200 N. Broadway. The show starts at 8 p.m. The group just released its 12th album, “English Oceans.” Tickets are $20 and $25 at www.selectaseat.com or by calling 316-755-SEAT.

Tornado Bait Party on Saturday

The Shamrock Lounge’s 12th annual Tornado Bait Party is on Saturday at the bar, 1724 W. Douglas. The party features eight bands with a lineup that includes acts such as the Kentucky Gentleman at 2:30 p.m., Haymakers at 7 p.m. and headliners the Sleepy Truckers starting at 10 p.m. Other activities start at 11 a.m., including tornado video viewings, prize giveaways, free shuffleboard and pool and a pig roast at 7 p.m. Admission to the party is $5. Access to an appetizer table served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. also is $5, and the pig roast with sides is also $5. For more information, call 316-267-3100.

The Floozies headlining at Crown Uptown

Wichita’s third annual 4/20 Blowout will feature the Floozies, a Lawrence-based electronica duo made up of brothers Matt and Mark Hill, as well as Inspectah Deck of WuTang Clan and Starkey. The show starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Crown Uptown, 3207 E. Douglas, and attendees must be 18 or older. Tickets are $25 in advance at https://naymlis.ticketleap.com and also will be available at the door the night of the show for $30.
