Police: Man beaten, robbed next to Century II

A homeless man was beaten and robbed next to Century II early Wednesday morning, police said.

The 52-year-old man told police he was attacked, punched and knocked unconscious by three unknown men sometime between midnight and 6 a.m., Lt. Dan East said. He was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis for treatment of a cut above his left eye.

After knocking the victim out, East said, the suspects took a small amount of cash from him.
