After a dusting of snow early Monday, Wichita shook off the wintry coat and will sample spring again for the next couple of days.

Highs should top 60 Tuesday in Wichita, forecasters say, with sunshine and variable winds in the teens. Gusts could approach 25 miles an hour out of the south by afternoon.

Overnight lows will settle in the low 40s as the breezy conditions continue, forecasters say. Gusts could near 30 miles an hour.

Wednesday is likely to be warmer still in Wichita, forecasters say, with highs climbing into the 70s. It’ll be very windy, however, with south winds in the 20s and gusting to nearly 40 miles an hour.

Another cold front surges through the area on Thursday, however, bringing with it chances for rain – and even snow on Friday.
