A family argument Saturday morning resulted in a 22-year-old man being cut by his uncle, Wichita police said.

Police responded to the fight at 1:15 a.m. in the 400 block of East 14th Street, which is just east of Broadway.

The 32-year-old uncle had cut his nephew with an unknown object, Sgt. John Hoofer said. He didn’t know where the younger man was cut or what started the argument.

After they arrived, police took the uncle into custody, Hoofer said. The nephew was treated at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis.
