Andover woman hospitalized after truck-semi crash

A 20-year-old Andover woman is hospitalized after she was involved in a traffic crash around noon Friday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said Ashley M. McQuilken was driving east in the area of 1119 W. Harry in Andover when she suffered a medical condition and struck a semi in the westbound traffic lanes. McQuilken, who was driving a Chevy Colorado, was taken to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.

She was listed in critical condition Friday evening, a hospital operator said.

The 54-year-old Andover man driver the semi was not hurt, the highway patrol said. The crash happened at 11:51 a.m.
