A Wellington woman who had been reported missing has contacted authorities and is fine, a sheriff’s detective said Saturday.

The Sumner County Sheriff’s Department had asked for the public’s help Friday in locating Trina Cook, 32, who had been reported as last being seen on March 26.

Cook apparently saw a report about herself on the news and then contacted the Sheriff’s Office on Saturday afternoon, Detective Frances Stevenson said. Cook, who is 32, was fine and had not been in any danger, Stevenson said. No other details were available.
