IRS to hold vehicle auction in Emporia next week

The IRS said Friday it will hold a public auction April 10 in Emporia, where it will sell trucks, trailers, construction equipment and other vehicles.

The Internal Revenue Service said the items had been seized for non-payment of taxes.

The auction will be held at 10 a.m. at Williams Automotive, Inc., 3105 W. Sixth St. Bidder registration will open at 9:30 a.m.

Vehicles to be auctioned include: Fruehauf and Dorsey trailers; utility and reefer trailers; Peterbilt, Kenworth and Freightliner trucks; Yamaha and Suzuki motorcycles; a TCM forklift, Ford F700 and 4000 industrial tractors, a Chevy Impala; and a Dodge Ram 3500.
