Kallail named to new post at KU’s Wichita campus

K. James Kallail has been appointed associate dean for research at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, according to a news release.

He has been with the school since 1987 and has served as director of medical education outreach and associate director for the internal medicine residency program.

Kallail has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wichita State University and a doctorate from Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

He replaces Michele Mariscalco, who is leaving for a position at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
