Aspen the Couch Potato, a 7-year-old female English setter mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

I’m a sweet and loving gal who loves to go on walks and spend time with my human friends. My tail is wagging just thinking about the fun we’re going to have together. Visit with me right away at KHS.

Also available:

• Chief the Busy Bee, 5-year-old male Australian terrier mix

Don’t I have the cutest hair? I’m a stylish, fun guy that loves to play. I’m getting excited just thinking about all the fun times we’re going to have: the walking, playing and watching TV together. You should visit with your new pal at KHS today.

• Lincoln the Life of the Party, 2-year-old male Australian cattle dog mix

Are looking for a walking partner who will keep you on the go? Maybe you’re looking for someone to play fetch with in the backyard. Well, look no further. I’m going to be your active and fun-loving pal. There’s so much I want to do with you, so you should visit with me at KHS right away.

• Oriole the Private Investigator, 4-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

Hi, I’m Oriole. I might be shy at first, but once I get to know you, I can be quite the cuddle bug. Are you watching a movie? Mind if I sit in your lap? Are you taking a nap? May I join you? I just know we’re going to be best friends. Visit with me at KHS right away.

•  Esther the Leader of the Band, 3-year-old female cat, domestic shorthair mix

Meow! I’m Esther. I’m a pretty vocal cat who loves attention and playtime. We could cuddle up and watch a movie, as long as you don’t mind petting me, or we could play games together. My favorite is catch the string; I almost nab it every time. You should visit with me at KHS right away.
