Wichitan Kaleigh Glanton moves to next round on ‘The Voice’

Wichitan Kaleigh Glanton is staying on “The Voice.”

The singer was selected to advance to the next round after judge Blake Shelton picked her over singer Noah Lis. The two sang Michael Buble’s “Everything.”

Glanton, 20, was on the show two weeks ago, when she scored the last spot on Team Blake for the singing competition.

Glanton, a graduate of Maize High School, sang Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” turning the heads of all four judges/coaches, who dubbed her sound “different,” “unique,” “quirky” and “gentle.”

She’ll be teamed with another contestant to see which one advances from the battle rounds when “The Voice” airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday on KSN, Channel 3 in Wichita.

Last spring, Wichita native Chris Mann placed among the top four on the show.
