Wild arrests Law in home-opener

The Wild won its home-opener, beating Dodge City 40-7 on Saturday night at Hartman Arena.

Defense led the way. Matt Moss recovered a fumble for a touchdown, Kendrick Harper intercepted two passes and the Wild sacked Law quarterbacks five times.

Wichita led 14-0 after the first quarter. Dodge City’s only TD early in the second quarter made it 14-7, but the Wild added 10 points before halftime to claim a comfortable margin.

Tywon Hubbard ran for two touchdowns. Rocky Hinds passed for two and ran for another.
