Although it won’t be as warm as Thursday was, Friday will nonetheless offer another course of classic Kansas springtime weather.

Sunny, 60s and a hearty breeze are expected in the Wichita area, forecasters say. North winds will be in the teens, gusting to more than 25 miles an hour at times.

Overnight lows will settle in the mid-30s under mostly clear skies, forecasters say. Winds will only ease a little, with gusts still topping 20 miles an hour.

The weekend will be chilly and blustery, forecasters say, with highs around 50 and winds gusting above 25 miles an hour.
