Participants needed for KU study of Alzheimer’s drug

The KU School of Medicine-Wichita is currently enrolling people to participate in research on Alzheimer’s disease, according to a news release.

Participants must be at least 50 years old and have noticeable changes in memory, judgment and ability to perform daily activities. The study will test a drug that may help with memory problems.

Those who are accepted into the study will have continuous medical monitoring, diagnostic tests for thinking and memory, and may qualify for travel reimbursement.
