Consider the president a Shocker doubter, too.

President Obama has Wichita State losing in the Sweet 16 to Louisville in his predicted NCAA Tournament bracket, which was released on ESPN on Tuesday.

The president, who has publicly made selections every year while in office, doesn’t see the No. 2-seeded Kansas team in the Final Four either.

Completing the trifecta of Sunflower State snubs, he picks Kentucky to beat Kansas State in Friday’s second-round matchup.

The president selected two No. 1 seeds – Arizona and Florida – and two No. 4 seeds – Louisville and Michigan State – to advance to the Final Four in Arlington, Texas. He has Michigan State defeating reigning national champion Louisville in the final.

He said Michigan State coach Tom Izzo’s previous tournament success made him pick the Spartans.

In five previous years, the official White House bracket has been heavy with favorites. That doesn’t change this year as each of his Final Four teams is now the betting favorite, according to sports books online and in Las Vegas.

After correctly predicting North Carolina to win the 2009 title, Obama’s picks of KU to win the 2010 and 2011 championships fell short. He returned to pick North Carolina unsuccessfully in 2012 before tabbing the Indiana Hoosiers in 2013.

He did successfully pick Louisville to be in the title game last season.
