Wichita can expect a sunny, warm and windy day Monday, forecasters say.

Highs should reach the mid-60s, with south winds intensifying into the upper teens by mid-afternoon. Gusts could reach 30 miles an hour at times. Lows overnight will settle in the low 40s, with the south winds easing only a little.

Tuesday will resemble Monday, forecasters say, with sunshine, highs in the 60s and gusty south winds. Those winds will be in the teens in the morning and the 20s in the afternoon, with gusts nearing 35 miles an hour.

Lows early Wednesday morning will be in the low 30s, with winds switching to the north and gusting above 30 miles an hour at times. Forecasters expect Wednesday to offer more sunshine, with highs touching 60.
