A 54-year-old Wichita man was sentenced in federal court to five years in prison for distributing child pornography.

Amel Kevin Loop pleaded guilty to one count of distribution, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said in a news release.

An FBI agent used the Internet in November 2012 to download from Loop’s computer images of sexually explicit photos of a child who was about 2 years old.
