Jackson Taylor & The Sinners

Frequent Wichita performers Jackson Taylor & the Sinners will perform their honky-tonk style of music Friday at the Cotillion. The band Outlaws Inc. will open the show. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8. Tickets are $15 at the door. For more information, call 316-722-4201.

Hed PE, Smile Empty Soul at Lizard Lounge

G-punk rap group Hed PE and rock trio Smile Empty Soul, both groups from California, have teamed up for the Chemical Free Tour, which will stop in Wichita on Tuesday at the Lizard Lounge, 300 S. Mike Zito at Soggy Bottoms Too

Award-winning blues singer Mike Zito, who has a successful solo career and is also a member of the Royal Southern Brotherhood, will return to Wichita for a Friday night show at Soggy Bottoms Too, 767 N. West St. The show, which also will feature Zito’s band The Wheel, starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7. Attendees must be 21 or older, and admission is $15 cash at the door.
