Wichita police are seeking the public’s help in investigating an aggravated robbery.

The incident happened at about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday in an alley of the 900 block of South Mission, near Lincoln and Woodlawn, according to Capt. Doug Nolte, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department. A 35-year-old man was attacked by three people, one carrying a metal pipe.

The three stole the man’s wallet, approximately $100 in cash and used the pipe to strike his vehicle.

Police later recovered the wallet and some missing money, Nolte said.

“We are limited on the information as to what we have,” he said. “We are interested and are asking that if anyone was in the area and observed anything suspicious to please call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
