House fire damages house northeast of Sedgwick County Zoo

Fire damaged a house Wednesday morning in northwest Wichita, authorities said.

The fire was reported shortly after 6 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Emerald Bay, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. That’s just east of Zoo Boulevard and northwest of I-235.

No injuries have been reported, the supervisor said. A cause and damage estimate have not been released. Fire crews were still on the scene shortly before 8 a.m.
