Kansas AG’s Office hosts free document shredding at Dillons

The Kansas Attorney General’s Office is hosting free document shredding locations at various cities across the state the first week of March in celebration of National Consumer Protection Week.

In a news release issued Monday by Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt’s office, it said “securely shredding personal documents is an important step to preventing identity theft.”

The area locations scheduled next Tuesday:

Derby — 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Dillons parking lot, 1624 N. Rock Road

Wichita — 4-6 p.m., Dillons parking lot, 10222 W. 21st St.
