A 27-year-old woman was taken into custody early Sunday after she was thrown out of a bar, but went back later that night and tried to set fire to a vehicle and fence.

Officers were called to Hoots Bar at 3815 W. Douglas, near West Street, at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. John Hoofer, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

One of the bouncers at the bar had earlier in the night forced the woman to leave, Hoofer said. She returned to the bar with a knife and attempted to set fire to the vehicle and fence.
