A homeless man robbed on Thursday told police the thief took all his possessions in the world, police said.

The homeless man, 49, was walking and carrying a duffel bag at about 8 p.m. near Broadway and MacArthur, Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte said.

Another man attacked him, hitting him in the right side of the head with a board, Nolte said. The attacker ran south on Broadway, taking the duffel bag, Nolte said.

The victim suffered a swelled ear and a sore head, Nolte said.

The belongings stolen were mostly clothing, the victim told police.
