Tuesday will be another day to make folks in the Wichita area think about spring, with sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s.

It’ll be breezy as well, forecasters say, with southerly winds in the teens in the morning. Those winds will shift to the north by afternoon, gusting at times to 25 miles an hour.

Skies will remain mostly clear overnight, forecasters say, with lows falling to the mid-30s. Winds will be light and variable.

Wednesday could see showers and thunderstorms – yes, thunderstorms – enter the forecast. Highs are projected to be in the upper 50s with increasingly cloudy skies. The chances for precipitation arrive in the evening and continue into the overnight hours.

Highs on Thursday will be in the low 50s, forecasters say, with a slight chance for rain in the morning before skies clear.
