Accounting

Ryan Kellenberger has joined Kennedy and Coe as an associate.

Cindy Koehn has joined Kennedy and Coe as a tax intern.

Alex Cannata and Ashley Wham have joined BKD as associate accountants in the tax department. Matt Van Horn has joined BKD as an associate accountant in the audit department.

Agriculture

Tim Tucker of rural Niotaze has been elected president of the American Beekeeping Federation. Tucker distributes Tuckerbee’s Honey to stores throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.

Banking

Rob Musgrave has been promoted from assistant vice president and credit analyst to vice president and credit manager at Equity Bank.

Micha Mohr, branch manager and mortgage at Equity Bank’s Central and Maize branch, has been promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager.

Stacey Clark has been promoted to vice president of operations at The Valley State Bank in Belle Plaine.

Michael Smith has been promoted to senior vice president and trust officer at The Trust Company of Kansas. Christopher English has been promoted to vice president and trust officer of TCK, and Kim Ebert has been promoted to marketing officer.

Jill Snyder has joined First National Bank of Hutchinson as officer, business relationship management.

Government

Gary Curmode, fire chief of Sedgwick County Fire District No. 1, has completed the executive leaders program at Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Homeland Defense and Security in Monterey, Calif.

Law

John Woolf, an attorney withTriplet, Woolf & Garretson, has been recognized as a Litigation Star for the state of Kansas in the 2014 edition of Benchmark Litigation.

Organizations

Anne Bowman has joined The American Diabetes Association as associate manager of programs, and Stacy Mayou has been named special events manager and foundations and grants.

Beth Shelton has joined the Greater Wichita Economic Development Coalition as manager of business development.

The Tallgrass Film Association has added the following members to its board: Nick Bonavia, Nevada First Corp.; Mark Jansen, Applianz Technologies; and Steve Butcher, Consolidated Holdings. Officers elected for 2014 include: Paul Witte, Maximum Outdoor Equipment, president; Trudy Swint, retired, vice president; Sue Pearce, Piping & Equipment, secretary; and Cindy Hand, Catholic Family Credit Union, treasurer.

Real Estate

Michael DeHass, a state certified appraiser at Martens Appraisal, has been elected vice president of the Appraisal Institute, Greater Kansas Chapter. DeHass will serve as vice president in 2014-15 and then as president in 2016.
