Universal Lubricants has added a second distribution site in Texas, the Wichita-based company said Wednesday in a news release.

A 3,000-square-foot distribution and service center opened at its industrial services facility in Robstown, Texas, near Corpus Christi.

The new Robstown center is in addition to a 52,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center the company opened in Dallas nearly a year ago.

“Texas is a tremendous growth area for our company,” Rick Palmore, Universal Lubricants’ vice president of distribution and sales, said in a statement.

Universal is a re-refiner of used engine oil and lubricants. It operates 33 facilities in the U.S. and is owned by Pegasus Capital Advisors.
