‘The Walking Dead,’ Olympics star during TV week

The Olympic Games compete with the return of “The Walking Dead” for event of the week and Beatlemania continues:

Sunday

“Olympics 2014,” 6 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include figure skating, women’s snowboarding, men’s alpine skiing and men’s ski jumping.

“The Beatles: The Night That Changed America – A Grammy Salute,” 7 p.m., CBS: Current artists cover “The Ed Sullivan Show’s” set list.

“The Walking Dead,” 8 p.m., AMC: Rick and the gang are out of the prison, but lack of food and shelter and an abundance of zombie hordes are only a few of the cons they’re now facing.

“Talking Dead,” 9 p.m., AMC: The zombie drama’s post-game show returns.

“The Making of a Lady,” 9 p.m., PBS: A couple of Francis Hodgson Burnett stories are adapted into this one-off drama.

Monday

“Olympics 2014,” 7 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include women’s alpine skiing, men’s freestyle skiing and men’s short track.

“Top Gear,” 7:30 p.m., BBC America: Season 21 premieres.

“Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off,” 8 p.m., Food Network: Winner, winner, three-course dinner. The first season concludes.

“Independent Lens,” 9 p.m., PBS: “Spies of Mississippi” documents a state agency that spied on citizens and promoted segregation in the 1950s.

Tuesday

“Dads,” 7 p.m., Fox: The good news is that tonight’s episode is the season finale. The bad news is that it’s an hour long.

“Olympics 2014,” 7 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include figure skating, snowboarding, women’s freestyle skiing and women’s ski jumping.

“New Girl,” 8 p.m., Fox: The awesome Linda Cardellini guest stars as Jess’ sister.

“Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid,” 8 p.m., PBS: This “American Experience” offers looks at the outlaws who inspired the classic 1969 movie.

Wednesday

“Olympics 2014,” 7 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include figure skating, women’s snowboarding, women’s alpine skiing and men’s speed skating.

Thursday

“Olympics 2014,” 7 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include figure skating, women’s speed skating and men’s freestyle skiing.

“The This Old House Hour,” 7 p.m., PBS: If only there were Olympic medals for repairing a light switch or carrying a box spring up a narrow staircase.

Friday

“House of Cards,” 12:01 a.m., Netflix: Season 2 premieres on your computer, hand-held device or Internet-connected TV.

“Charlie Brown,” 7 p.m., ABC: This Peanuts twin-spin features “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” and “A Charlie Brown Valentine.”

“Olympics 2014,” 7 p.m., NBC: Tonight’s events include figure skating, men’s alpine skiing, women’s freestyle skiing and women’s skeleton.

Saturday
