Steiger will receive the 2014 William Allen White Foundation National Citation at 10:30 a.m. Friday, in the Alderson Auditorium of the Kansas Memorial Union at the University of Kansas. He’ll give an acceptance talk, “Toward a New Golden Age of Journalism.” The ceremony and talk are open to the public.
