Two men robbed the Quizno’s at Maple and West streets in Wichita shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday and took off in their getaway car – only to get a flat tire, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.

A motorist reported the suspects were driving with a flat tire on Illinois a block east of the Quizno’s. They then crashed into a fence and house north of Second Street on Baehr, which is a few blocks west of West and several blocks from the scene of the robbery, the supervisor said.

They fled the car at that point, leaving evidence behind in the area, and were apprehended on Anna a block west of Baehr. The suspects were two males who had gotten away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
