Wichita State forward Cleanthony Early and Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins were two of 25 players remaining on the Wooden Award midseason watch list released Wednesday. The award is given to the nation's outstanding college basketball player.

Early is averaging 15.5 points and 6.4 rebounds heading into Wednesday night's game at Illinois State. WSU is ranked fifth at 19-0.

Wiggins, a freshman,k averages 15.2 points, tops on the Jayhawk roster. Kansas freshman center Joel Embiid was not on the list. He has been a rising star for the Jayhawks -- and possibly for this summer's NBA Draft -- with his recent play.

Players not on the midseason 25 are still eligible to win the Wooden Award.
