Families wanting to learn more about the pre-International Baccalaureate program at Robinson Middle School in Wichita are invited to attend one of two informational sessions.

The meetings, designed for fifth-grade students and their parents, will explain the pre-IB program and application process. Pre-IB is a rigorous academic program designed for motivated students who seek a demanding curriculum that includes foreign language, in-depth research and advanced math, science, social studies and language arts. It is not certified by the International Baccalaureate organization.

The overview meetings are 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Feb. 4 at Robinson, 328 N. Oliver. Student testing dates for the program are Feb. 1 and 8; the application deadline is Feb. 14.
