Second City tour to come to Wichita East High

The Second City comedy tour will stop in Wichita for one evening in March, and tickets are on sale now.

The improv-based sketch comedy troupe will bring its “Happily Ever Laughter” tour to the East High Performing Arts Center, 2301 E. Douglas, at 7:30 p.m. March 7. The show is a fund-raiser for the East High Friends of Performing Arts, a fine-arts booster club.

Many comedians got their big breaks at Second City, which has theaters in Chicago and Toronto. The troupe’s list of prominent alumni includes John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, Gilda Radner, John Candy, Tina Fey and Steve Carell.
