A 58-year-old Williamsburg man died Wednesday when he lost control of his truck on an Anderson County road and rolled into a ditch.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Gary Kettler was driving a Chevy Silverado south on 1600 Road, near Garnett, when he overcorrected after crossing the center line around 11:40 a.m. The truck went into the ditch, rolled several times and landed on its driver’s side.

Kettler died in the crash, the highway patrol said. He was alone in the truck.

No other vehicles were involved. Garnett is about 25 miles south of Ottawa.
