WICHITA — Jerseys Grill and Bar near K-96 and Webb Road is still closed following a lapsed liquor license, and the owners aren't discussing the situation.

It looks like they're trying to reopen, though.

According to the state, there's a pending liquor license application.

General manager Tim Hadsell previously said he accidentally let the license lapse. He didn't return numerous calls to explain where things stand now.

Building co-owner Warren Daniel says it's his understanding that the Jerseys owners had to update the names on their LLC membership before being able to acquire a license. He says it looks like that is either done or close to being finalized, but there's still remodeling that needs to be completed before the business can reopen.

Look for an update soon.
