It looks like the Dreamlifter pilots found new jobs at Southwest Airlines.

Ken Landwehr was my for-real, straight-up hero.

How about naming ICT the “Lt. Ken Landwehr Airport” in honor of a great public servant?

When I used to work near the airport, I didn’t hear a single complaint from American or international travelers about the airport’s name. I did, however, hear complaints daily about how tiny and run-down our airport is.

I don’t understand why fewer WSU men’s basketball games are on TV this year. It would make sense for more games to be on, since we are ranked fifth in the nation. Someone has made a big mistake.

Hey, Wichita sports fans: While you are not paying attention, the Shocker women are setting records also.

I assume those who denied global warming last week because it was cold are accepting global warming this week because it is warm.

People who are dumb enough to believe that cold weather is the result of global warming are the same ones who are dumb enough to believe that the government can get out of a recession by spending more money.

I don’t like Chris Christie. But even if he did what the Democrats are trying to pin on him, compared with President Obama he’s a law-abiding peach.

Someone suggested the Kansas secretary of state position be eliminated. Good idea. Hawaii, Utah and Alaska don’t have secretaries of state; their lieutenant governors do that job. Kansas could save Kris Kobach’s salary and get 20,000 disenfranchised voters to the polls – a win for everyone.

What’s with the new comic “WuMo”? What does that mean anyway? Most of the time I don’t get it. Bring back “Mother Goose & Grimm.”

Bring back “Get Fuzzy.”

How about going back to some old comics, such as “Alley Oop” and “Li’l Abner”?

If the only thing you have to complain about is the comics in The Wichita Eagle, then you need to put down the newspaper and get a life.

I would like to thank whoever noticed that I left my purse in the shopping cart at Walmart on East Kellogg and turned it in. It is so nice to know there are honest people out there. May God bless you.
