Someone out there has a Powerball ticket worth $1 million — but they apparently don’t know it.

The ticket was sold in southwest Kansas for the drawing on Jan. 26, 2013, which means the holder has less than two weeks left to claim the prize, Kansas Lottery spokeswoman Sally Lunsford said in a prepared statement. Lottery rules stipulate that winners have 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim the winning ticket.

The winning ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball. The winning numbers from the Jan. 26 Powerball drawing are 3, 22, 26, 41 and 49, with a Powerball of 18.

The unclaimed ticket was sold in one of 24 counties: Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Rush, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Pawnee, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Edwards, Kiowa, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark and Comanche.
