Gordon Lightfoot to perform at Orpheum Theatre on March 19

Legendary folk singer Gordon Lightfoot will perform at the Orpheum Theatre on March 19, the venue officials announced Monday.

Lightfoot, 75, known for hits such as “If You Could Read My Mind,” “Carefree Highway” and “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” is bringing his “50 Years on the Carefree Highway” tour to the theater. He was last in Wichita in 2010, performing at the Cotillion.

Tickets to the show are $49 and $64 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. They’ll be available at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, at Select-A-Seat outlets, at www.selectaseat.com, or by calling 316-755-SEAT.
