  • Published Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at 9:46 a.m.

New federal requirements for handling records about chemicals at the workplace are the subject of a seminar Jan. 22.

The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the session, which will be presented by Leroy Burton of iSi Environmental. He’ll discuss the changes facing businesses under OSHA’s new Hazard Communication Standards.

The changes deal primarily with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), which many businesses are required create, maintain and share.

The session runs from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber, 350 W. Douglas, and the cost is $15 for members or $20 for non-members.
