A 47-year-old employee of Larkspur had just stepped outside the Old Town restaurant at 904 E. Douglas on Saturday night when he was approached by four men.

The men, ages 18 to 21 years old were wearing hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans, said Sgt. John Hoofer, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department. They knocked the employee to the ground, kicked him and took his cellphone. The incident happened at 8:15 p.m., he said.

The men then fled the scene, Hoofer said.

The employee did not require any medical attention.
