A 25-year-old man was charged this week with lewdly fondling or touching two children, ages 4 and 6.

Matthew A. Stieb, of Wichita, is facing two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, according to a complaint filed Monday in Sedgwick County District Court. Jail records show Stieb was arrested Dec. 31, the same day the alleged crime occurred.

Stieb is held in Sedgwick County Jail on $350,000 bond. His next court date is Jan. 22.

Aggravated indecent liberties with a child younger than 14 is a Jessica’s Law crime, which draws a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole for 25 years, upon conviction.
