Winfield-based electronics subcontractor S and Y Industries reported Monday that its 2013 revenues grew 17 percent, to about $13.5 million, over 2012.

Executive vice president John Foust attributed the growth to more aggressive marketing of the company, which makes components for manufacturers in the aerospace, medical, commercial and industrial sectors.

“Our customer base has expanded and we’ve offered more services,” Foust said. “There’s just more getting out there and kicking the tires.”

The company has averaged sales growth of more than 20 percent a year over the last 10 years, Foust said. The company, which employs more than 100, projects a 33 percent sales increase in 2014.
