A 40-year-old woman was critically injured in a rollover crash Saturday morning northeast of Maize, authorities said.

The one-vehicle crash was reported at 9:10 a.m. at 61st Street North and 71st Street West, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. That’s just west of the Arkansas River and about two miles north of K-96.

Seventy-first Street West is known as Ridge Road within Wichita city limits.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report, Tina M. McDaneld was northbound on Ridge Road in a 2000 Dodge Intrepid when the vehicle went left of center and struck a driveway leading into a field. The car overturned.

McDaneld was taken to Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, the patrol reported. She was transported in critical condition, the Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.
