A homeless man apparently froze to death under a bridge near the Mid-America All-Indian Center, Wichita police said.

Officers were called to the Seneca Street Bridge at about 1 p.m. Sunday to check the welfare of a man who apparently had been living under the bridge. The man, believed to be in his 50s or 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

There were no obvious signs of trauma, police said, and the coroner will be asked to determine the cause of death.
