Wichita police are looking for a suspect who stabbed a woman in the hand early Sunday before taking her debit card during a disturbance in the 1200 block of South St. Francis, near Lincoln and Washington.

Sgt. Bart Brunscheen said police were called to Via Christi St. Joseph about 2:45 a.m. after the 63-year-old woman went there for treatment of her hand injury. The woman directed officers to the scene of the disturbance, Brunscheen said, and a witness there identified a suspect, described as a man in his 30s.

The woman said she was knocked out by the man before he took her debit card.
