A man robbed a convenience store in the 4800 block of East Harry on Friday night, police said Saturday.

Wichita police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen gave this description: The man came into the store about 5:50 p.m. Friday and took a box of noodles to the cash register, and once the register was open, he pulled out a black handgun and demanded all of the money. A clerk gave him the money, and he was last seen running south into the neighborhood. He appeared to be acting alone. No one was injured.

The robber was described as a 25-year-old black man, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, clean-shaven and wearing a black puffy jacket, blue ball cap, blue jeans and brown fabric gloves.
