Friends linebacker Marcus Carter chosen NAIA All-American

Friends senior linebacker Marcus Carter was chosen an NAIA All-American by the American Football Coaches Association.

Carter made 106 tackles during the season, had two interceptions and two fumble recoveries, and scored two touchdowns.

Carter, the KCAC player of the year, was one of three KCAC players to receive first-team honors, along with Southwestern senior defensive back Lorenzo Fouts and Sterling junior Antonio Bray, who was selected as an all-purpose player.

Fouts had seven interceptions and made 51 tackles. Bray led the NAIA with 2,352 all-purpose yards and scored 20 touchdowns.
